Análisis espacial de contagios de Covid -19 en la Provincia de Chimborazo, a través de medidas de centralidad y dispersión

More than two years have passed, and we still have a lot to learn about the origin, spread and prevention of this disease that has caused great human and economic losses, has generated social and mental effects on the entire world population, however, it is It is necessary to continue studying, learning and analyzing the different scenarios that this pandemic leaves us. The present proposal explores the statistical methodologies of central tendency for the study of spatial data, to identify where the mean center of the spatial distribution of victims is located due to the contagion of Covid-19 of the year 2021 in the Province of Chimborazo, in addition to knowing where the locate the weighted mean center, and identify the standard deviation of the distribution of contagion cases. The results show that the spatial dispersion has an elongated arrangement, presenting a greater amplitude in the north-south direction, between the cantons of Guano, Penipe, Riobamba, Chambo, Colta, Guamote and Pallatanga.
