Zusammenfassung: | The aim of this study was to validate in the Mexican context the Skills Questionnaire Learned in High Performance Sport in athletes’ version, through internal consistency and construct validity. In Study 1, reliability and factorial structure were examined in a sample of 236 athletes (Mage = 20.57 years, SD = 3.97). In study 2, factorial invariance was analyzed according to gender (47.2% men and 52.8% women), which consisted of 678 athletes (Mage = 19.18 years, SD = 3.88). The results show adequate reliability and construct validity, with a unifactorial structure. Measurement equivalence between men and women is shown. In addition, the most and least important skills to transfer to the working market are confirmed through quantitative and qualitative analysis. In conclusion, the version in the Mexican context of the Skills Questionnaire Learned in High Performance Sport in athletes’ version is a reliable and valid instrument, which allows the assessment of skills learned in high performance sport and that can be transferred to the working market. |
