Zusammenfassung: | During the second part of 19th century and the first years of the 20th, every astronomer was searching insistently for a new planet between Mercury and the Sun so as to support Newton´s Universal Gravitation Law. Due to the observation difficulties in an area so close to the Sun, owing to the huge quantity of light which it is released, it was considered to use total eclipses of the Sun as tools to make its search easier.
In this article we will deal with the different exhibitions which were carried out for this purpose in Zaragoza province by the Paris Astronomical Observatory in 1860 in Moncayo mountain and by The Californian Lick Astronomic Observatory to Alhama de Aragón in 1905
