Programa formativo para la unidad curricular ingeniería del software: Universidad del Zulia

The objective was to propose a training program for the Software Engineering Curricular Unit of the Bachelor of Computer Science Education, of the Eastern Coast of the Lake, University of Zulia, based on the paradigm of competencies. The study was projective, with a documentary design, whose method involved the review of institutional documents. For the recording of information, the basic formats for the design of LUZ programs were used, as well as files for the systematization of indicators. It is concluded that it is necessary to periodically reformulate the curriculum to appropriately redesign the programs in higher education based on the demands of the context. El objetivo fue proponer un programa formativo para la Unidad Curricular Ingeniería del Software de la Licenciatura en Educación Informática, del Núcleo Costa Oriental del Lago, Universidad del Zulia, sustentado en el paradigma por competencias. El estudio fue proyectivo, con diseño documental, cuyo método involucró la revisión de documentos institucionales. Para el registro de información fueron empleados los formatos base de diseño de programas LUZ, así como fichas para la sistematización de indicadores. Se concluye que es necesario reformular periódicamente el currículo para rediseñar pertinentemente los programas en educación superior en función de las demandas del contexto.
