La memoria actual de la Guerra Civil española

During the last twenty years, the Spanish Civilian War has been the topic of many literary and historic texts which captured the interest of all Spanish society. Writers, editors and public prove that the facts happened more than half a century ago still are a powerful motivation for research and creation. It does not mean that nothing was written till the decade of the nineties, but the attention upon the topic, especially in the literary field, had declined due to the tendency to leave behind a subject that was dominant in narrative, dramatic and poetic works through many decades. The purpose of this revision is to explain the literary, political and ideological reasons for this phenomenon. En los últimos veinte años, la Guerra Civil española es el tema de innumerables textos literarios e históricos que han despertado el interés de toda la sociedad española. Escritores, editores y público demuestran que los sucesos ocurridos más de medio siglo atrás son una cantera que parece inextinguible para la investigación y la creación. No significa que hasta fines de los noventa no se haya escrito nada sobre el asunto, pero la preocupación por el tema, sobre todo en el terreno literario, había decrecido debido a la tendencia a dejar atrás un asunto que fue dominante durante varias décadas en creaciones narrativas, dramáticas y poéticas. El propósito de la presente revisión es tratar de explicar los motivos de este fenómeno, tanto desde el punto de vista literario como político e ideológico.
