Zusammenfassung: | In general a difficulty presented by students for learning in Mathematics is the reading and interpretation of problem situations. We present a qualitative research that aimed to analyze the difficulties presented by the students in solving problems with polynomial of first degree equation. We had as research subjects twenty-three students of the 8th year of the Municipal School of city Ouriçangas - Bahia. We used as a tool for data collection an activity and a questionnaire. The results showed that the students had different strategies for solving some issues, but had many difficulties, both with the specific concepts of mathematics and reading and interpretation of problems. The data showed basic conceptual gaps and we believe it is essential that students are encouraged to solve problems situations such content so that it is prioritized a teaching time as will attempts to formulate hypotheses, compare results and thus can go building your own knowledge, actively and breaking with the logic of the exercise paradigm. This didactic proposal goes in line with theoretical and Polya (1995) and Onuchic (1999) to talk about the Methodology of Troubleshooting and is also aligned with assumptions of the Theory of Didactic Situations of Brousseau (1996). We reiterate that it is fundamental that students are encouraged to solve problems that fosters their development autonomously. For this, the use of different pedagogical alternatives, because often the aforementioned difficulties are ratified by the methodology used by the teacher in the classroom is necessary, indispensable investments in teacher qualification
Em geral uma dificuldade apresentada pelos discentes para aprendizagem em Matemática é a leitura e interpretação de situações problemas. Apresentamos uma pesquisa qualitativa em que objetivamos analisar as dificuldades apresentadas pelos alunos na resolução de problemas com equação polinomial do primeiro grau. Tivemos como sujeitos da pesquisa vinte e três estudantes do 8º ano de uma Escola Municipal da cidade de Ouriçangas - Bahia. Utilizamos como instrumento para coletas de dados uma atividade e um questionário. Os resultados demonstraram que os alunos tiveram estratégias diferenciadas para resolução de algumas questões, mas apresentaram muitas dificuldades, tanto com os conceitos específicos de matemática quanto na leitura e interpretação dos problemas.
