Zusammenfassung:In Physical Education the global trend and also in Ecuador is directed to quality in all its components. In this order, it is essential to establish the relationship between curriculum, evaluation and quality; precisely because the curriculum must define and adjust the motor skills and education to achieve in students as essential components in their training process. Conceive from the Physical Education curriculum that the evaluation process is increasingly adapted to the needs and competences to be achieved in each student and in turn stimulates the quality of the classes in the different contexts and levels, it continues to be a challenge that requires solutions. In view of the above, the article presented aims to reflect on the importance of establishing the relationship between curriculum, assessment and quality and the challenges and prospects that currently occur in Physical Education classes in the Ecuadorian context and its impact on the student results and the quality of the classes.Based on a methodology of inquiry and search on studies and documentary reviews around the subject, the main result is the necessity of a scientific rethink about the relationship that must be indissoluble between the curriculum and the methodological didactic alternatives They are currently developing Physical Education classes and their relationship with the evaluation process, as an alternative to increase the motor and educational performance of students and the quality of Physical Education classes. En la Educación Física la tendencia mundial y también en Ecuadorse encamina a la calidad en todos sus componentes. En este orden resulta fundamental establecer la relaciónentre currículo, evaluación y calidad; precisamente porque desde el currículo deben definirse y ajustarse las competencias motrices y educativas a lograr en los estudiantes como componentes esenciales en su proceso de formación. Concebir desde el currículo de Educación Física que el proceso de evaluación sea cada vez más adaptado a las necesidades y competencias a lograr en cada estudiantey a su vez estimule la calidad de las clases en los diferentes contextos y niveles, sigue constituyendo un reto que requiere de soluciones.Atendiendo a lo señalado el artículo que se presenta tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre la importancia de establecer la relación entre currículo, evaluación y calidad y los retos y prospectivas que se presentan actualmente en las clases de Educación Física en el contexto ecuat
