Reformas oficiales y reformas populares en la Edad Media: los Pobres de Lyon contra la iglesia

This paper presents the dissidence and innovations made by Peter Waldo and his followers, the Waldensians, during the 12th century, in the context of the heresies fought by the Church in the Late Middle Ages. First, we refer to the reforms that the medieval Church made between the 10th and 11th centuries and the rise of heresies. Secondly, we address the situation of the Waldensians and the sentences against them carried out in different councils. Finally, we present the innovations carried out by the Waldensians and the influence they had on subsequent dissident and heretical movements until the Protestant Reformation. El presente trabajo presenta la disidencia y las innovaciones realizadas por Pedro Valdo y sus seguidores, los valdenses, durante el siglo XII, en el contexto de las herejías combatidas por la Iglesia en la Baja Edad Media. En primer lugar, nos referimos a las reformas que la Iglesia medieval realizó entre los siglos X y XI y el surgimiento de las herejías. En segundo lugar, abordamos la situación de los valdenses y las condenas en su contra realizadas en distintos concilios. Finalmente, presentamos las innovaciones llevadas a cabo por los valdenses y la influencia que estas tuvieron en movimientos disidentes y heréticos posteriores hasta la Reforma Protestante.
