Zusammenfassung:ABSTRACT Prevalence of injuries in professional football players in the years 2013-2014Football is a very popularity sports around the world and especially in Brazil. Thus the studies that form a statistical profile of injuries and more likely players to them are of great importance. Since the lesions occur predominantly in the soft tissues and joints, with an emphasis on lower limbs. Thereby depriving athletes of seasons, some factors predispose athletes as intrinsic and extrinsic factors. But studies analyzing all these harmful factors in athletes are scarce in the northern region of the country, this figure becomes even smaller. The aim of the study was to analyze the incidence of musculoskeletal injuries in professional football players of Tuna Luso Brasileira, Belém, PA for a period of two years. From these data the study reported the findings to age, positions so as to draw a profile of the most frequent injuries and possible prevention programs. Data were collected from 23 players, with an average of 23.8 + -4.5 years, weight 72.4 + -7.2 kg and height 177.4 + -8.3 cm during the Championships Paraense 2013 and 2014, totaling 23 competitive games. These data were collected through verification of pre-existing medical records by the Medical Department of Tuna Luso Brazilian. Statistical analysis was subsequently performed. The study concludes that the number of muscle injuries in football is very common, so a follow-up a multidisciplinary team is required, which are the most common injuries to indirect contact to the movements of the games and practices.
