Zusammenfassung: | The main objective of the research, is to explain the processes of development of the professional
identity in the psychologists: changes in the meaning, importance and value of the work; as
well as the association between professional identity and conditions of work. A qualitative method
is used: focal groups, autobiography and interview to depth. 6 focal groups were implemented, 3
interviews to depth and electronic answer of 3 autobiographies was obtained. The IP definitions
were raised considering the academic characteristics, characteristics and the social perception of the
psychologist personal. There is a repeated observation about the lack of professional exercise, this
fact limits the conformation of a professional identity. With respect to the identity in terms of development, it was observed that there are personal adjustments or modifications, although the exigencies
and conditions of work are an important component in this conformation of the identity. The
acceleration or delay of the IP of psychologists is associate to the labor scene: labor conditions such
as wage, type of relations in the labor context, as well as the psychological, own demands of the
task like psychologist within the organization. There is an association between the labor benefits and
satisfaction in the work, independent of the realised activity. The social perception of the psychologist,
this half-full one by the society on the one hand, and on the other, by the activity realised in
favor of that social idea, for that reason the clinical psychologist is more seeing like psychologist,
that the social psychologist. Important relations between the labor conditions and the development
of the IP are observed.
El objetivo de la investigación, es explicar los procesos de desarrollo de la identidad profesional
en los psicólogos: cambios en los significados, importancia y valor del trabajo; así como la asociación
entre identidad profesional y condiciones de trabajo. Se emplea un método cualitativo: grupos
focales, autobiografía y entrevista a profundidad. Se realizaron 6 grupos focales, 3 entrevistas a profundidad
y se obtuvo respuesta electrónica de 3 autobiografías. Las definiciones de IP fueron planteadas
considerando las características personales, los rasgos académicos y la percepción social del
psicólogo. Hay una reiterada observación al hecho de que la falta de ejercicio profesional limita la
