Zusammenfassung:This was a multicenter open-label randomized controlled trial aiming to to evaluate the efficacy and safety of local thermotherapy to prevent disease progression in hospitalized adult patients with mild-to-moderate COVID-19. One-hundred and five patients were included for analysis; further details can be consulted with the accompanying manuscript and the trial registry (NCT04363541). Participants provided their written informed consent forms to participate in this study and data sharing. The study was approved by the institutional ethics and research committees and received oversight from the clinical trial independent review committee. Individual patient data has been de-identified and identifiers in the ID column consist of newly generated and randomly assigned numbers that do not match the original order of enrollment in the study, thus not matching identifiers used in the original dataset. Dates have not beed included in the dataset to preserve patient privacy. Thus, time lapse between events are provided in days.
