Zusammenfassung: | This review will compare medical abortion practiced at home and in clinics in terms of
effectiveness, safety, and acceptability. We will conduct a systematic search for randomized controlled trials and prospective cohort studies comparing home-based and clinic-based medical abortion. Successful abortion is the main outcome of interest. Side-effects, complications, and acceptability are secondary outcomes. Risk Ratios (RRs) and their 95% confidence intervals (CIs) will be calculated. Estimates will be pooled using a random-effects model. |
