Zusammenfassung:General Information The dataset contains the data of hand and phantom limb repositioning in the presence of hindering physical matter (Exercises 4-5) acquired during the Myo-Electricity, Gaze And Artificial-intelligence for Neurocognitive Examination & Prosthetics (MeganePro) project . The data were collected to examine the changes in phantom limb sensations and eye movement patterns in reaction to a physical object invading the phenomenal space of a phantom limb. Motor imagery and motor execution were both considered. These data are relevant to the way the phantom interacts with a prosthesis, and might provide useful insights into the mechanism underlying the embodiment of an artificial limb. The data represents the first-ever attempt to characterise quantitatively phantom limb phenomena hitherto only described in self reports. The dataset includes surface electromyography (sEMG), accelerometry, gaze, and video of scene in first-person perspective. Acquisition Protocol Task 2 (indicated as exercise n.4). In amputees: Motor imagery of the phantom limb Motor execution of the phantom limb, requiring the movements of the stump Motor imagery of the intact hand Motor execution of the intact hand Task 2 (indicated as exercise n.4). In able-bodied participants: Motor imagery of each of the two hands Motor execution of each of the two hands Task 3 (indicated as exercise n.5). Only In amputees: Motor imagery of the phantom limb Motor execution of the phantom limb, requiring the movements of the stump Data Information Data type Surface electromyography (sEMG) Accelerometry Gaze Video of scene in the participant's first-person perspective Data format MAT-file format containing the standard data record MAT-file format containing the auxiliary data record with original sampling MPEG-4 files for the video of the scene
