BamHI generates bands of 5000 and 3880 bp; EcoRI generates bands of 12 020 and 5539 bp; HindIII generates a band of 7411 bp. () PCR of the -insulin intergenic region. The first PCR was performed with the P13 (located in the 3′-UTR) and P14 (located in the insulin 5′-flanking region); for the second PCR, the P13 and P15 primers (located in the insulin 5′-flanking region) were used.
