Zusammenfassung:Bat samples amplified in this study. Populations were considered as hibernating (+) or non-hibernating (−) in the country of sample origin. Species were considered infected when Pseudogymnoascus destructans was detected in at least one individual using molecular genetic or culture experiments and positive for WNS when P. destructans was confirmed and diagnostic lesions found on skin histopathology [10, 22].
