Published by Oxford University Press. All rights reserved S and AS transcripts organization in regard of the gene structure (accession number S73812) is schematically presented. The S (top) and AS (bottom) transcripts are shown. The S transcript correspond to exons 1 and 2 sequences. The AS transcript sequence is complementary to the exon2 and a major part of the intron. Positions of probes used for hybridization are given. Green and red arrows, respectively, represent S and AS promoter.
