This contribution examines whether the work of Frontex, in the context of its sea operations, may hinder access to asylum and in what ways, while it will address the new possibilities that emerge after the Lisbon Treaty for the legal accountability of the agency.It looks in particular in the Frontex Sea Operations Regulation.
