Zusammenfassung:Copyright information:Taken from "Floral gene resources from basal angiosperms for comparative genomics research"BMC Plant Biology 2005;5():5-5.Published online 30 Mar 2005PMCID:PMC1083416.Copyright © 2005 Albert et al; licensee BioMed Central Ltd. Genes with the plant-specific but functionally uncharacterized domain family DUF642 form three clades (A, B, and C). In addition to the genes with petal-specific expression patterns, Clade A includes asterid, , monocot and magnoliid genes, indicating that the clade predates the divergence of these lineages (Fig. 1). The genomes of basal-most angiosperm lineages (and Nymphaeales) and gymnosperms may also contain unsampled Clade A genes. Clade B genes were sampled from (Nymphaeales) and Clade C genes were identified from and . Bootstrap support values (>50%) are shown above each branch. Abbreviated taxon names associated with some gene sequences: Os, (rice); At, ; Gossyp, spp. (cotton); G.max, (soybean); L.japo, ; M.trun, ; V.vini, (grape); L.sati (lettuce); S.tube, (potato); S.escu, (tomato); M.crys, (ice plant); A.cepa, (onion); T.aest, (wheat); H.vulg, (barley); S.bico, ; S.offi (sugarcane); Z.mays, (maize); L.tuli, (tulip poplar); P.amer, (avocado); N.adve ; A.tric, .
