Zusammenfassung: | This study examines the decision-making styles, academic motivation, and procrastination behaviors of 689 students enrolled in physical education and sports programs at various state universities in Turkey during the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. The sample includes 383 male (55.6%) and 306 female (44.4%) participants, with a mean age of 24.16 years for males and 23.13 years for females. Data were collected through a questionnaire that included the Rational Decision-Making Styles Scale, Academic Motivation Scale, and Academic Procrastination Scale - Short Form. The analysis utilized SPSS and Jamovi software, employing descriptive statistics and Hayes' Process Macro for mediation analysis. The study aims to explore the relationships between rational decision-making, intrinsic motivation, and academic procrastination, providing insights into the factors influencing students' academic behaviors. |
