Zusammenfassung: | Supplementary Material 5. Faecal bacterial taxa altered following Schistosoma mansoni (Sm) infection in faecal samples of D2 human microbiota-associated (D2 HMA) mice. Results of LEfSe and Kluskal-Wallis/Wilcoxon rank-sum test applied to the identification of differentially abundant bacteria between the faecal microbial communities of uninfected (Sm−; n = 4) and infected (Sm+) mice at 28 and 50 days post cercarial exposure [_d28 (n = 10) and _d50 (n = 8), respectively]. Taxa displaying p-value < 0.05 and LDA score ≥ 2 by LEfSe, and/or p-value < 0.05 by Kluskal-Wallis/Wilcoxon rank-sum test are included. A Summary of differentially abundant bacterial taxa as determined by LEfSe. B-E Statistically significant differences determined by LEfSe and/or Kluskal-Wallis/Wilcoxon rank-sum following comparative analyses of: B the three experimental groups (Sm−, Sm+_d28 and Sm+_d50); C microbiota profiles of Sm- mice and at 28 days post infection (Sm+_d28); D microbiota profiles of Sm- mice and at 50 days post infection (Sm+_d50); and E microbiota profiles of Sm+_d28 and Sm+_d50. |
