Zusammenfassung: | Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is developmental disorder due to exposure to high amount of Oxygen in preterm births. Recent advancements in discovering the treatment for BPD revealed that transplantation of donor-derived endothelial cells (EPCs) is an effective approach in reversing BPD-induced lung damage in mice. Current study demonstrated the efficacy of EPC therapy can be improved by co-transplantation of tissue-resident alveolar macrophages. |
