This video showcases a screen recording of the Ediom app's Study Screen and the Discussion Board. Ediom is a mobile application developed and published on WeChat, a versatile messaging and social media platform with wide popularity among Chinese users. Ediom app operates as a mini-program within WeChat, ensuring universal accessibility regardless of the user's mobile operating system (e.g., Android, iOS, Windows Mobile), as long as they have WeChat installed on their devices.Within the study mode, users engage with idioms in an interactive and unique manner. Instead of the conventional approach of presenting a list of idioms, users are prompted to answer a series of multiple-choice questions, with answer choices provided in a visual format. This approach challenges users to employ their creative thinking skills, encouraging them to think critically rather than merely providing answers. It fosters concentration, patience, and the application of cognitive abilities to establish connections between images and idioms. Users are afforded three attempts in total. Whether they answer correctly or not, they are eventually directed to the Review Mode (featured in another video on figshare).
