Zusammenfassung: | As a member of the voltage-gated chloride channel superfamily, ClC-3 has been shown to enhance cell volume regulation and stabilize mitochondrial membrane potential, but its role and mechanism in cardiac hypertrophy remain unclear. Our research is the first study to report that ClC-3 overexpression could provide an overall improvement on myocardial cells in vitro and in vivo, suggesting that ClC-3 may be an attractive pharmaco-therapeutic target for the treatment of cardiac hypertrophy. |
