MST1/2 in PDGFR-a+ cells negatively regulates TGF-β-induced Myofibroblasts Accumulation in Renal Fibrosis
Using a mouse model with Mst1/2 double knockout in PDGFRα+ cells, and a Mst1/2 inhibiter, we demonstrated that MST1/2, as a negative-feedback signal of TGF-β-induced fibroblast differentiation. Furthermore, we demonstrated that Hippo–MST as a negative feedback signal can decrease the renal fibrosis...

Zusammenfassung: | Using a mouse model with Mst1/2 double knockout in PDGFRα+ cells, and a Mst1/2 inhibiter, we demonstrated that MST1/2, as a negative-feedback signal of TGF-β-induced fibroblast differentiation. Furthermore, we demonstrated that Hippo–MST as a negative feedback signal can decrease the renal fibrosis process. This finding contributes to understanding the mechanism of co-regulated renal remodeling post injury. |
