Simulated temporal evolution of the atomic density inside a hollow-core fiber guided by a FORT. The atoms are are moving at a velocity of va(0)=1 m/s and experience loss rates of 0.6 s-1 (heating) and 1.5x10-12 cm3/s (two-body collisions).
