Zusammenfassung: | The exploratory case study was undertaken because this research sought answers on how MEP is being implemented for the selected Asnaf entrepreneur, which requires real-life intervention. After all, finding answers to the research questions through surveys and experimental strategies would be too complex. The selection of sample in this study is divided into two categories. The first group of informants are officers from LZS. The second group of informants are MEP participants who have been involved in the program for at least two (2) years. There are two(2) methods of sampling used to select the informants. In the first sampling stage, purposive sampling was used to ensure that only suitable informants are selected for this study. However, since this study requires more informants, a different sampling strategy was used to get more informants. Hence, the snowballing technique was used, and the researcher managed to get additional informants. The in-depth semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data from seven (7) zakat officials at LZS and eight (8) Asnaf who participated in MEP. Interview guides were used to interview all the informants. The interview was audio-recorded and conducted in Bahasa Malaysia as all the informants speak Bahasa Malaysia as their medium of communication. |
