The RESIDE dataset utilizes a large number of data sources, including indoor and outdoor scene images (ITS and OTS, respectively). We selected 4000 random fog-free images from ITS and OTS to create the training dataset. Then, 1,000 images were selected from each of these two datasets as the fine-tuned dataset.
