Human alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma cell line RH30 was exposed to 20 ng/mL IL-4 or IL-13 recombinant protein for 60 min. STAT6 expression and phosphorylation was detected via western blot to confirm expected activity of recombinant proteins based on previously published studies [26]. Control RH30 demonstrates no phosphorylation of STAT6, while both IL-4 and IL-13 exposure induce STAT6 phosphorylation, as expected.
