Confocal reflectance AOSLO imaging (top panels) and non-confocal split detection (bottom panels) before and after resolution enhancement. These two channels were acquired simultaneously and are co-registered with each other. The video alternates between images acquired under two conditions: full pupil illumination and 1.2 ADD confocal pinhole detection versus annular pupil illumination (ε = 0.5) and sub-ADD (0.4 ADD) confocal pinhole detection for the confocal channel (top panels), and full pupil illumination versus annular pupil illumination (ε = 0.5) for the non-confocal split detection channel (bottom panels). Images were collected at a retinal location 10o temporal from fixation.
