Zusammenfassung:SEM images of an epoxy replica of the lower epidermis of the leaf of English weed (O. pes-caprae) showing replicated epicuticular waxes on top of a papilla (scale bar = 10 μm). The replica was obtained by a two-step moulding process. A first negative mould is obtained using a polyvinylsiloxane polymer and then a positive replica is created with an adequate epoxy resin.
