Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this project was to conduct a retrospective chart review concerning methamphetamine use at an indigent-care clinic. Methamphetamine use affects the user's health in a variety of negative ways and screening and identification of methamphetamine use is an important function of interprofessional care teams. The population was people seeking health care at a local indigent care clinic in West Texas. The subjects were people seeking health care, and disclosing past year drug use or lifetime diagnoses of drug use. The sampling frame was composed of all charts of unique patients within the one-year timeframe of May 2017 through May 2018. Convenience sampling was used. |
