Circular plot of migration flows within and between world regions in 2005-10

The plot shows estimates of global migration flows that I recently published in Science together with Guy Abel (http://www.sciencemag.org/content/343/6178/1520). This figure shows migration flows within and between world regions over the five-year period 2005-10. The direction of the flow is defined by the colour of its origin, and its width shows the volume of movement. Tick marks show a region’s migration in 100,000s.
