Blot with equal amount of total RNA isolated from roots of Pokkali plants probed with [P]-(encoding highly conserved basic domain), showed hybridization with two transcripts of size 2.2 kb and 1.3 kb, both of which appeared after treatment of plants either with 200 mM NaCl (lane 2) or with 100 μM ABA (lane 3) or with NaCl and cycloheximide (Ch, lane 4), together.
