Zusammenfassung: | We selected 40 representative populations of C. mongholica, and the 40 sample sites were mainly located in northwestern China (36°06′N - 45°39′N and 96°21′E - 116°45′E), which experiences a typical temperate continental arid climate. We determined 11 leaf functional traits of Caryopteris mongholica from 40 populations, including leaf width, length, area , perimeter, aspect ratio, shape factor, specific leaf area, dry matter content, carbon , nitrogen and phosphorus content per unit mass. The data also included longitude, latitude, elevation and 17 climatic features of 40 sites.
