Zusammenfassung: | The partial sequence of KCNQ1 was obtained from the full-length genome of Pinctada martensi, and the full-length sequence of KCNQ1 of Pinctada martensi was cloned by RACE.Mutations in the KCNQ1 gene lead to changes in a variety of mechanisms that affect the transport, assembly and normal functions of channel proteins, which in turn triggers type 2 diabetes, arrhythmia, deafness, gastrointestinal tract and other diseases. Moreover, KCNQ also plays an important role in vertebrate biomineralization.
