Fossils in Shropshire

The Fossils in Shropshire project dataset includes collections data and images of geological specimens from Shropshire Museums collections. The collection is principally comprised of paleontological specimens from Shropshire and the Welsh Marches and illustrates Shropshire\u2019s diverse geology. It also has representative material from the rest of Britain and further afield. The most important or illustrative examples from this diverse collection are being digitised and key information captured by a small team of staff and volunteers.\r\n\r\nThe project aims to increase awareness and access to this collection and is managed by the Friends of Ludlow Museum.
