Zusammenfassung: | This Zenodo repository contains supplementary data and information for the paper "The 2020 Mw 7.0 Samos (Eastern Aegean Sea) Earthquake: joint source inversion of multi-type data, and tsunami modeling" by Sun et al. If you use any of the data or models please cite it accordingly.
In the paper, we present a kinematic slip model and a simulation of the ensuing tsunami for the 2020 Mw 7.0 Néon Karlovásion (Samos, Eastern Aegean Sea) earthquake, generated from a joint inversion with high-rate GNSS, strong ground motion and InSAR data. We also discuss a potential factor that could impact the simulation of tsunamis in terms of duration and response periods.

Files in this repository:
GNSS, ground motion and InSAR folders have raw and processed data with different methods
tsunami has records and simulation results
Best fitting inverse models are in folder - inversion -:
A .inv file, which has the full result of the multi-time window inversion
A .inv.total file, which contains the total slip at each subfault
A .fault file that is the fault mesh
A .gflist file that lists the stations info, the path of inversion data and weighting for inversion.
A .mod file is the velocity structure |
