Overall and chronological visualization of the rural settlement of Roman antiquity according to time stages in the area of interest (AOI) using the site features as a cartogram based on a hex bin map - striking is the change in settlement pattern resulting from the broad chronological division of the data basis, which can only be recognized in detail and is still most clearly observed for Late Antiquity. It is also evident that most of the finds and features come from the ancient regional centers, while the fewest occur in rural areas.
