Zusammenfassung:Before using the stimuli, make sure to read the foreword in README.1.pdf. These materials were used by Nagels et al. (2021, J. Acoust. Soc. Am., doi: 10.1121/10.0004791). When using the corpus, please cite both: Nagels L., Gaudrain E., Vickers D., Hendriks P., Başkent D. (2021) School-age children benefit from voice gender cue differences for the perception of speech in competing speech. J. Acoust. Soc. Am., doi: 10.1121/10.0004791. Nagels L., Gaudrain E., Vickers D., Hendriks P., Başkent D. (2021) CCRM-NL: Dutch Child-friendly Coordinate Response Measure Corpus. Zenodo, doi: 10.5281/zenodo.4700994. The corpus consists of 112 audio recordings from a female speaker uttering sentences in the form: Laat de {call sign} zien waar de {colour} {number} is. Let the {call sign} see where the {colour} {number} is. The available call signs are: kat [cat] hond [dog] The available colours are: rood [red] zwart [black] groen [green] blauw [blue] wit [white] geel [yellow] bruin [brown] The available numbers are: een [1] twee [2] drie [3] vier [4] vijf [5] zes [6] acht [8] tien [10] The filenames have the following structure: {call_sign}_{colour}_{number}.wav where {call_sign} is the call sign in English ('cat' or 'dog'), {colour} is the colour in English (see above), and {number} is the the number in digit for (1 to 10, omitting 7 and 9). The speaker was a 166-cm tall female speaker, Dutch monolingual from the Groningen region, speaking with no distinguishable regional accent. The audio files are 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV files. They were recorded using a standing Røde NT1 microphone, a Presonus TubePre V2 preamplifier and a TASCAM DR-100 portable digital recorder. The files are RMS-equalized to the highest value that prevents clipping (0.09914).
