Zusammenfassung: | Dataset for paper: Kaláb O, Musiolek D, Rusnok P, Hurtik P, Tomis M, et al. (2021) Estimating the effect of tracking tag weight on insect movement using video analysis: A case study with a flightless orthopteran. PLOS ONE 16(7): e0255117. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0255117 Data structure weights.zip The zip contains table weights.csv in which are stored weights of each cricket before each recordings, and each individual dummy tag. Table also include information on which groups belong to given temperatures, day and date of recordings and id of each cricket. There is also R script weight.R which summarise the weights (means, SDs) of crickets before first recordings, tag weights and tag/body mass ratios before the first recording. temp.zip The zip contains directory with .txt exports from Vernier datalogger. The named convention of the files is 'GROUPDAY_DATE.txt'. Each file contains 40 temperature logs with 0.5 minutes lags. The temperature record overlaps also the part of habituation time before recordings for analysis. Some files include also relative humidity which wasn't use in the analysis. Also we had technical issue in one of the day of recordings ('G2_14.3.2018') so there is only one temeprature log. There is also R script vernier_temp.R which parse the datalogger data and return summay (means, SDs). data_crickets.zip The zip file includes decoded frames and files with tracking information. The named convention of the folders that include the decoded frames is the following: XY-DD-MM, where X is the group's name, Y the identification of the recorded day (first, second, or third), DD is the day of recording, and MM is the month of recording. Each of the folders includes 14400 decoded frames, where each frame is in jpg format named by ID, ordered from 00001 to 14400. The tracking information is saved in a file named 'processed-XY' where XY corresponds with the folders' XY naming convention. Each of the files contains 14400 rows, where the first row is for the image named 00001, the second row for the image named 00002, etc. Each row contains information about 20 crickets where the particular crickets are delimited by the symbol '- '. Each cricket is represented by four values delimited by ';', where the first value is x top-left coordinate, the second y top-left coordinate, and the two remaining denotes width and height of the pattern/cricket. The coordinates are projected into the resolution of (1200,675), to project them back into the image |
