Zusammenfassung:Municipal administrative management plays an essential role in the progress of local communities, with its effectiveness and efficiency being determining factors in the growth and economic potential of a region. Therefore, understanding how local governments address administrative management is crucial. The central objective of this research is to analyze municipal administrative management from a global and multidimensional perspective, addressing both its competencies and its management phases and dimensions. The methodology employed consists of a systematic literature review using PRISMA. The review highlights the thematic diversity in municipal management, focusing on performance evaluation and quality. Local governments play a fundamental role in promoting social welfare and sustainable development. The evaluated dimensions include social, organizational, environmental, economic, political, and financial aspects, highlighting the complexity of municipal management. Strategic planning is emphasized as essential, along with a balanced approach in all phases of the management process. This research contributes to understanding how local governments play a fundamental role in improving the quality of life of their communities through effective and sustainable management.
