Climate Risk Assessment - Belém, Pará, Brazil

This report characterizes the direction and magnitude of change of five key climatic variables for the municipality of Belém, in Pará, Brazil. The analysis shows that, over time and by the end of the century, the municipality will experience: (1) a wider annual temperature range; (2) a higher precipitation maxima; (3) a lower precipitation minima; (4) an extension of the fire season; and (5) more frequent extreme heat events.
