description The Deleuze Seminars is a collection of audio recordings, transcriptions, and English translations of, and supplemental materials from, the lectures French philosopher Gilles Deleuze gave during his career at the University of Paris 8. The second segment, produced several months after the initial filming, starts with Deleuze’s political reflections, “G as in Gauche [Left]”, then a crucial consideration, “H as in History of Philosophy.” Some philosophical concepts follow, in “I as in Idea”, “J as in Joy,” and “K as in Kant.” Then, he turns to one of his greatest interests, “L as in Literature,” concluding with yet another somewhat personal reflection, “M as in Maladie [Illness]”. The dataset contains three files, the French transcription and English translation of Part 2 of the interview, and the recording’s opening introduction and summary of the corresponding part.
