Gilles Deleuze, From A to Z, Part-2, 4 February 1989

The Deleuze Seminars is a collection of audio recordings, transcriptions, and English translations of, and supplemental materials from, the lectures French philosopher Gilles Deleuze gave during his career at the University of Paris 8. The second segment, produced several months after the initial filming, starts with Deleuze’s political reflections, “G as in Gauche [Left]”, then a crucial consideration, “H as in History of Philosophy.” Some philosophical concepts follow, in “I as in Idea”, “J as in Joy,” and “K as in Kant.” Then, he turns to one of his greatest interests, “L as in Literature,” concluding with yet another somewhat personal reflection, “M as in Maladie [Illness]”. The dataset contains three files, the French transcription and English translation of Part 2 of the interview, and the recording’s opening introduction and summary of the corresponding part. - Les Séminaires de Deleuze sont une collection d'enregistrements audio, de transcriptions et de traductions en anglais et de documents complémentaires des conférences que le philosophe français Gilles Deleuze a donné lors de sa carrière à l'Université de Paris 8. Le deuxième segment de "L’Abécédaire de Gilles Deleuze", réalisé plusieurs mois après le tournage initial, débute par les réflexions politiques de Deleuze, « G comme Gauche », puis une considération cruciale, « H comme Histoire de la philosophie ». Suivent quelques concepts philosophiques, « I comme Idée », « J comme Joie » et « K comme Kant ». Puis il se tourne vers l’un de ses plus grands centres d’intérêt, « L comme Littérature », pour conclure par une autre réflexion quelque peu personnelle, « M comme Maladie ».
