Zusammenfassung: | When your life, sans job & post employment, is all you have! Work's a pain, but at least you're working, right? Come home to an easy-to-digest quick look series called Post Life, created by the ICE Screen Transfusion project, a creative outlet for the likes of writers, directors, cinematographers, editors and sound recorders. Shot entirely in Western Sydney and by Western Sydney filmmakers, POSTLIFE looks at life through the eyes of John (Felino Dolloso), who's worked at the post office for much of his career. But since he has lost his job, John's been in a bit of a tailspin. Mrs McPherson is well peeved that John won't be handling her "packages", his daughter Stella decides to take off and leave him with the dog, and then there's Melanie ... With 5 episodes in the series, Post Life not only uses the web as a medium for programming, but also as a means to offer a collaborative project from people of differing backgrounds, with Western Sydney as their base. The series was developed out of ICE's Screen Cultures program, which offers workshops for artists in Western Sydney led by industry professionals. Five episodes streamed on YouTube, total duration 30 minutes. |
