Zusammenfassung:Multispectral data for three Torah fragments from the Stadtmuseum Harburg. The fragments were found in a private estate. They likely come from Torah scrolls from the Harburg Synagogue, which were stolen, torn, and inscribed with hate propaganda and anti-semetic insults on the Reichspogromnacht in Harburg on November 9, 1938. The anti-semetic insults were later removed mechanically, and this project worked to recover the missing text to better understand the history of these fragments. The Torah fragments and their multispectral data were presented as part of an exhibit on the 1938 Reichspogromnacht in Harburg at the Stadtmuseum. Dataset contains raw image data as well as processed images. Images in preview are compressed and of lower quality. They are mainly intended to serve as thumbnails. Original hiqh quality TIF images can be found in the Color and PROCESSED folder below (zip file). For information about filenames and folderstructure as well as MSI system related info, please read the "Brief Description of Datasets for Multispectral Imaging."
