Zusammenfassung: | This dataset contains quantitative data describing the comparability of basal ganglia regions in different stereotaxic atlases with regions in the Waxholm Space atlas of the Sprague-Dawley rat brain. Stereotaxic atlases included are The Rat Brain in Stereotaxic coordinates (version 6) by Paxinos and Watson and Brain Maps (version 3) by Swanson. The stereotaxic atlases were spatially registered to the WHS rat brain atlas using QuickNII and VisuAlign, and the degree of overlap for each region was quantified using Nutil Quantifier. This provides an overview of the quantitative correspondence between basal ganglia annotations in different atlases, and may be useful to determine whether data defined by use of different atlases can be compared. |
