Zusammenfassung: | Dental panoramic radiograph is unique in that it provides a plethora of findings including conditions associated with teeth, bones, and signs of dental treatment. While multiple datasets containing annotated panoramic radiographs exist, we found a significant gap in datasets that have panoramic radiographs along with detailed reports. To address this need, we designed a specialized dataset for which radiographs were collected retrospectively from a private diagnostic center, after obtaining due permissions and deidentification. The collected dataset comprised of 121 panoramic radiographs, each representing a distinct patient case with a variety of dental conditions. The radiographs collected had different findings , such as missing / impacted teeth, periapical disease, mixed dentition status, periodontitis, etc. A report that covered all possible conditions including numbering the teeth, caries, impacted teeth, previous treatments, status of temporomandibular joint and maxillary sinus was created for each radiograph with the help of a maxillofacial radiologist. |
