Zusammenfassung: | This data set includes data on soil N2O flux, soil temperature, water-filled pore space, and mineral N (NH4+ and NO3-) measured at three sites in Germany, where the agroforestry systems combined crop rows and hybrid poplar short rotation coppices. We systematically compared soil N2O fluxes between cropland agroforestry and monoculture systems over two years following different crop rotations and fertilization rates at each site. Each site is represented by 4 replicates per land use, at the following distances from the tree row for agroforestry: 1 m, 7 m and 24 m.
Research domain: Soil Sciences
Research question: In present, no systematic comparison was conducted of soil N2O fluxes between cropland agroforestry and monoculture systems in temperate Europe |
