Zusammenfassung: | This dataset contains experimental data gathered from humans with Huntington's disease (HD) and age-matched subjects without HD. In total there are 69 participants. The signals gathered are EEG, fNIRS, ECG, respiration, room temperature, forehead temperature and blood flow (using Laser Doppler flowmetry). In addition to the matlab files is a png file showing the EEG fNIRS layout. All study protocols were approved by the commission of the Republic of Slovenia for Medical Ethics. Data were recorded at the Neurological Clinic, Ljubljana, Slovenia while the participants were sitting in a chair with eyes open. The electroencephalogram (EEG) was recorded at 1kHz using a 16 channel system (V-Amp, Brain Products, Germany) and the functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) at 31.25Hz with an 8 source/8 detector LED system (NIRScout, NIRx, Germany). An Electrocardiogram (ECG) with electrodes placed on each shoulder and the lower left rib acquired the heart rate, while a respiration belt wrapped around the subjects chest recorded the respiration rate. Laser Doppler flowmetry measured the blood flow to the left and right of the forehead. All three were sampled at 1.2kHz. The signals were recorded simultaneously for around 30 minutes. All the signals have been cut down to 20min continuous signals. In each matlab file there are 69 cells. Each cell corresponds to a participant. The participants are divided into four groups (PHD = pre-symptomatic Huntington’s disease, SHD = symptomatic Huntington’s disease, CPHD = control group for the pre-symptomatic group, CSHD = control group for the symptomatic group). 6 subjects were not included in the analysis due to health problems such as hypertension and diabetes. CSHD = 1:4 6 7 11:15 17:18 20 22:37 39:41 CPHD = 2:4 6:7 10 13:15 17:31 34:36 39 40 SHD = 43:57 PHD = 58:69 Description |
